The Olivia Caldwell Foundation was founded in November 2013 to honor the life of a very special little girl. Olivia Caldwell was diagnosed with brain cancer (a grade 2 diffuse astrocytoma) at just 4 months old. She battled for 16 months before passing away on October 22, 2013 at just 20 months and 3 days old.

The mission of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation is to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. Research for pediatric cancer is severely underfunded, only receiving 4% of the total budget from the National Cancer Institute. Our goal is to change this. Our primary affiliation is with the neuro-oncology research lab at Children’s Hospital Colorado. They’ve already found several treatment options that have dramatically increased the survival rates of several pediatric brain cancers.

You can make a big impact by donating to the Olivia Caldwell Foundation today! Any amount helps! Help us save children’s lives. The child’s life you save could be your own. Visit our website at www.oliviacaldwellfoundation.org to donate or find out more information.

  1. Your story is very similar to ours, although our child was 23 years old and fought his astrocytoma brain tumor battle for 17 months and went to Heaven on 22 Feb 2014. It was very tough losing a great guy that did have some awesome life experiences and my heart breaks knowing your precious lil’ angel didn’t get a chance to even go to school and make friends. We will continue to share your story in the hopes many will donate to find a cure for this evil disease!
